Online Writing Workshops

Rananim‘s online workshops give you the opportunity to write, receive feedback, and learn about the craft of writing on your own time. All you need is your computer, an Internet connection, and a desire to write! And $50 of your paid tuition (tax receipt will be provided by UNM Foundation) benefit the vision of the D.H. Lawrence Ranch Initiatives to preserve the legacy of novelist D.H. Lawrence and his wife, Frieda Lawrence.

Courses run for eight weeks in Jan/Feb, Apr/May, and Oct/Nov. The cost is $400 per class. $50 of your paid tuition gets you a tax receipt from the UNM Foundation for your contribution to the D.H. Lawrence Ranch Initiatives.

Participants receive personalized feedback on assignments from their instructor, as well as responses from classmates on discussion board forums. All instructors are university professors and/or working professional writers, and most have taught regularly at the Taos Summer Writers’ Conference.

Classes are limited to 15 students who will engage in conversation with you and your work. Firm deadlines and feedback help keep you writing and improving your work throughout the class.

If  you are just starting out as a writer or looking for an advanced class to help you refine and polish your work, whether you are a poet, a novelist, a short story writer, or a memoirist, we have a course for you. Because of the flexible nature of our courses, we  gladly accept international students. Additionally, Professional Development tuition remission is available for eligible UNM staff and faculty through Continuing Education registration here.
